و مورّدُ الخدّين لفّ ببُردِهِ
غضناً و زرّ عليهِ طُرّة بندِهِ
ناديتهُ لما استبدّ بعهدهِ
يا من حوى وردَ الرّياضِ بخدّهِ
وحكى قضيبَ الخيزرانِ بقدّهِ
Translation
With rosy cheeks, he wrapped in his chic A slender form, as he fastened each peak I called to him when no meeting he'd seek O you who bears the rose upon your cheek And mirrors the slender reed, poised and unique
